Why “Amanita Arts” ?

Why not “Amanita Art”? While I do love creating art of mushrooms, and they are definitely the focus of my ceramics, I am not simply creating mushroom art, and especially not just art of amanita mushrooms. “Amanita Arts” is meant to capture something more than just mushroom art; think of it as being more like the magical “arts”. Amanita mushrooms have a certain mysticism about them, and have been considered sacred and magical by people all over the world. My work aims to tap into this magic - the magical arts of the amanita mushrooms.
